The city of Vancouver is located in the west coast of Canada in the province of British Colombia. The city is the eighth largest in Canada. Spring

Summer

By November the average high temperature is only 9 Celsius (48 Fahrenheit) while the average low temperature is 3.1 Celsius (37.6 Fahrenheit). While the temperatures can drop lower than that they really do not get too bad. September and October are still great times to visit the city of Vancouver just make sure to bring your sweaters and at least one coat. Weather Records

As you can already tell Vancouver is not really a city of extremes; not in the hot weather or the cold weather when compared to the rest of Canada. The hottest temperature ever recorded in the city of Vancouver is 33.3 Celsius (91.9 Fahrenheit) while the coolest temperature ever is -17.8 Celsius (0 Fahrenheit). In November of 2006 the city experienced really heavy snow which was anywhere from 30 to 60 centimeters (11.8 to 23.6 inches) in a day but that type of snowfall is extremely rare. The one concern that citizens of Vancouver have about snow is that the snow is wet and when you mix that with the winter temperatures in the area it can translate into icy conditions on the roads.
